Labocania lived in Baja California and was probably related to the Tyrannosaurus rex. Though not as tall or long as Tyrannosaurus, its head appears to have been larger and its thicker. Labocania appears to have been a ferociouspredator with sharp, serrated teeth. Like Tyrannosaurus rex, Labocania was possibly capable of bursts of speed in excess of 25 mph (40 km/h) for short distances.
