Order: Saurischia · Suborder: Theropoda · Infraorder: Tetanurae · Family: Allosauridae
Known from fragmentary remains found in Mongolia and China, Chilantaisaurus seems to have resembled Allosaurus, but it may have been related to the tyrannosaurids as well. Chilantaisaurus had large arms for a big theropod.
