Quaesitosaurus was a diplodocid, one of a group of long-necked sauropods with tapering, whip-like tails. The animal is known only from a partial skull, which displays unusual features, such as structures indicating sensitive hearing. Some even believe it to be the same genus as Nemegtosaurus.
